Our motor driven cable reels serve
the industry for reliable electrictrification of equipment in motion,
for automatic winding of flexible power- and control cables. They
fully meet international safety requirements. They can be supplied
for spiral ar random wrap, for horizontal or vertical payout.

Accessories
For low voltage operation the life sliprings are rated for 690 V AC /
900 V DC, control rings for max.
500 V. Standard slipring assemblies for 6 kV and 10 kV, 200 A or
400 A are available. For higher voltages consult factory.
The slipring housing is coverd to IP 54 ( higher protection grade on
request ). In order to avoid condensed water the slipring compartment
for high voltage use is equipped with a thermostatically controlled
space heater.
The following electric motor drives are employed:
Torque motors are available for all common voltages and frequences, designed
for Iso-class F and covered to IP 55. The reel drive motor always
work in the reeling up direction and cable payout means pulling
against the drive-torque moment. The motor adjusts automatically to
all speeds, down to stand-still.
Standard random wrap type cable reels are supplied with hot galvanized finish
while monospiral type cable reels get a primer and a final coat of
anticorrosion paint, coulour RAL 2002. Drive motor and gearbox are
supplied in coulour RAL 5009.
