Cable Festoon Systems (small and medium size)

VAHLE festoon systems support conductor cables, flat or round, and hoses (for pneumatic and hydraulic applications) to mobile equipment. The cable carriers are well guided in C-tracks, on diamond tracks or I-beams.

Small festoon systems: cat. 8a and 8c
Medium festoon systems: cat. 8b/R and 8b/F

General:
All track types can be bent in accordance to the system layout, considering the minimum bending radius and the permissible cable loop depth. Naturally, all carriers comply with VDE and international regulations.

In addition to power cables the festoon carriers can support large quantities of control, data and optic fibre cables, travelling independently from the mobile machinery with control carriers. A complete range of suitable cables and fittings is available (cat. No. 8L).

Extremely corrosive atmospheres require special solutions. Our product range includes stainless steel, acid-proof and seawater-resistant carrier systems and components.
