The insulated conductor U 10 is being used for main and control
supply and data transmission (Powercom) for monorail systems. Sliprings and multipole
slipring units can be made of it. Capacity: 10 - 100 Amps. Cat. 2a |

U 20 - U 30 - U 40 are single phase, insulated conductors, for indoor or
outdoor installation. Compact hangers allow space saving
arrangements; from 60 to 1,000 Amps.; with collectors from 15 to
400 Amps. Capacity. Recommended for: Runway conductors
for overhead cranes, gantry cranes, shipyard and port cranes, AS/RS
systems, automated material handling systems, testing
installations, elevators, people mover systems, etc. Cat. 2b |

U 15 - U 25 - U 35 are single phase insulated conductors, for indoor or outdoor
installation; from 10 to 860 Amps. Recommended for: Runway conductors for
overhead cranes, gantry cranes, shipyard and port cranes, AS/RS
systems, monorail systems, elevators, sliding doors, data and
signal transmission, amusement rides, high voltage installations,
etc. Cat. 2C |
VAHLE insulated conductors are designed in accordance to international safety
regulations for a mulitude of power supply applications. They fully
meet VDE 0100 and are finger safe to EN 60529 (VDE 0470, part 1, protection
code IP 23 for vertical arrangement). They are UL, SAA and SEV
approved. The shrouding which envelops the various conductors is an excellent insulator.
Therefore our unipole insulated conductors guarantee utmost safety
in operation. Any number of conductors can be accomplished by
installing various powerails side by side.
Standard rail sections are 6 m long ( U 35: 6,25 m long), shorter lengths
to coincide with your runway requirements are available. Factory
fabricated or field prepared radius bends can be used for
horizontal or vertical curves. The ground conductor is
identified by international colour coding. For obvious safety
reasons phase and ground collectors are not interchangeable.
